While I'm not sure what I inhaled the other day, I am sure that I was and still am sick..again. Tis the season to have the sniffles, eh? Yesterday, it was like I had experienced -theworst allergicreaction- (no spaces makes it seriouser!) to something, but I'm not allergic to anything..am I? My mom said it was just seasonal allergies, or maybe Dog dander allergies. My Mngr told me she felt the same way..then a couple days later was diagnosed with H1N1 virus. K. So, I'm a tad bit worried that I may get worse in a couple days, but if it happens, it happens. Worrying over things helps me get even more sick, so we won't have any of that. Yesterday, was supposed to work 10-7, but I went ahead and called in sick. I'm just grateful that we have the coverage over there today to handle me not being there, AND that my mngr and co-workers saw how incredibly disgustingly sickingly terrible I looked and sounded last night, so there is no doubt in their minds that I really am sick. Not that I would ever falsely call in sick. Oh no.
I'm getting out of the loop of making bentos for lunch, and I'm not enjoying it. Things have been kinda messy around here lately, staying over at other places, having co. over, craving subway, etc = all the excuses for NOT making a bento that you can think of, I've done it. So I'm hoping to have some more made when I get back to work..not until Tuesday. Yay.
Gage came over to spend the evening with his Auntie Nay, and we had fun. We watched Bolt and I tried to get him to watch Totoro, but I think the beginning made him assume it was a girlie cartoon. We had pizza and for desert..He wanted a marshmallow, which would undeniably lead to wanting handfuls of marshmallows, and I won't allow people to eat marshmallows alone. They're made to be eaten with other things, whether it be choc. chips and pretzels, graham crackers and chocolate, etc. And that's a lot of sugar for a little 5 yr old boy, doesn't matter if he'd be at his moms when it kicked in :p
I made a deal with him, I told him that I was making something special for desert, and if he wants marshmallows he can have marshmallows..OR he can have one of the things that I was making. A while back I had picked up some Wall-E cake decorations on clearance, and was waiting for a day like this to use them! I made 4 little cupcakes and placed a Wall-E on 2, and an EVE on the other 2. He freaked out. He loved them soo much. I could've made the cake batter out of baby powder and crushed dog food, I don't think his view on them would change. We wrapped up the rest to take home and so far they haven't been eaten yet, but I did see him last night and he wanted me to make him some more the next time he came over. My guilty conscience tells me we should make something more along the lines of this healthier but still awesome meal.
WOW TALK I know most people on my friends list don't even play WoW, or know someone who plays WoW and ignores them when they talk about, but I enjoy playing and talking about it. If you don't like it, skip it.
I logged into WoW last night to a "After I'm done with my dailies, do you want a run through something?"
I love questions like that, because unless I have no desire to stay on long enough to be ran through an instance, there is no way I'm going to turn it down. C is awesome, not only is she my co-worker, she's also my gm on BWL. Lol. She ran me through Ramparts in Hellfire first. I was 56 at the time, and I was very surprised at the amount of experience per kill I was getting (over 1k), so long story short; she ran me through Ramps twice and BF once and I ended up at half way through lvl 58!
Now, so far, I've been using Zygor to assist me in questing on my Paladin, I love it. However, and how can I say this without getting into trouble..
I wouldn't suggest getting it off that site..they charge $50 for it. K. But it's an awesome add-on for anyone wanting to burn through 1-80. I have 7 days played time on my lvl 59, nothing incredibly awesome, since I spend -some- time not questing. Now the problem with this though came last night, when I gained the almost 2 levels via boosts, I was able to start questing in Hellfire. But not able to start with the quest helper, because not all of the quests are available to you in the starting hubs until you are lvl 60. So, since I'm still under the weather *cough* I'm backtracking a bit in the questing and hitting up Silithus and such. I hate Silithus because it looks dirty and itchy, but I love it for what it was. Back in the day it was one of the few endgame zones but now adays its rare to see more than one person there.

Not to mention that the firsts couple quests you pick up at the starting hub are "kill 4 billion spiders, worms, scorpions and did we mention spiders?" But mindless killing is a great chance to upgrade and redo ui's, I think ;)
I'm a lazy slob, so I like to download other designers compilations and tweak them to my own liking. I had been using Acaciaizm MiniMe UI's (Healbot & DPS) but it was getting far too cluttered for my liking, and I just felt the need for a new fresh look. I went with Beau UI, which is really cool sounding when you say it outloud "bowyoueye". Yes, thats the best way to choose a UI, which one sounds the best. Heh. I love minimalistic uis and after how many years of playing WoW now? I'm starting to not need to look at my action bars. I like the idea of only having 6 buttons per bar showing, everything else I don't need to see, the cd's I do currently need to see are on those 6 buttons. My biggest snag in tweaking was with SMM. Simple Mini Map mod makes the little map on your screen look perty. Smallerizes it, puts a border around it, turns it into different shapes, etc. Unfortunately, the quest tracking area movers are broken because of some Blizzard error in coding or something like that. I needed to see which quests I was currently on, and what quest items I should be using, instead of having to dig through my bags. I had to choose between eye candy or time efficiency. I chose the latter and moved the map up into the corner. It's ugly, I know. But overall, it's a nice clean layout that forces me to use my "Staring at the computer" glasses.

Oi boy, did I sleep a ton last night. I forget..I was trying to get Chewy to bed and ended up falling asleep with him in my bed. Yesterday, we (and I say "we" like he helped) super cleaned the master bathroom and bedroom and a little bit of the utility room (thats the next room on my toredo list). I rearranged the bedroom a bit again, and I love it, it's really dark and cozy but there is just something missing about the blank white walls. I think I'll put off buying some paint or something until I figure out what I really want. Other than that, the bedroom/bathroom project is finito! (Ok, still have to get new curtains for the garden bath.) So yeah, the crazy utility room is next. Its the little cubby that used to house the washer and dryer, the water heater is still rumblin' along at the very end though. Now there's just junk, junk that's too messy or cleaner type to put in my 'office' :p And now, is time to work. Guh.

Running to work early, probably taking the bike so I don't have to be worried about creepy guy in huge dark parking lot. Going in early so I can get some breakfast. Yes, I had some yogurt here, but I am now having a terrible craving for cheesy cauliflower and also need to pick up todays paper. WTF. That and an energy drink will tide me over. Remind me to get some V8 Splash tonight, or something to mix with potato liquor.
I can't believe I'm working on a Sunday, it's been a while since I've done this.
Eh.
